Moldova recognizes the harm short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) cause to human health, the environment and the economy.  Accordingly, Moldova joined the Coalition to raise national awareness about SLCPs, increase its mitigation actions, and strengthen its institutional capacity to reduce SLCP emissions. The country aims to engage key stakeholders, mainstream SLCPs into its national planning processes, and dedicate greater financial resources to mitigation activities.
