Paris, 28 June 2012 - Applications are invited for the post of Head of the Secretariat of the Climate and Clean Air Coalition to Reduce Short-Lived Climate Pollutants (CCAC).
To be responsible for the strategic coordination of CCAC activities, the position will be based in Paris with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). UNEP is a partner in the Coalition and also hosts its Secretariat and Trust Fund.
The Secretariat will develop the annual workplan and budget of the Coalition, implement programs and activities as agreed by the Coalition's partners, draft papers and reports, manage the Coalition's Trust Fund, help to organize workshops or capacity building activities, provide organizational and logistical support for meetings and manage communications and public outreach.
Note: the deadline for applications has been extended until 24 September 2012.
