As a developing nation, the Central African Republic recognizes the dangers of climate change and air pollution to its people and economy. The Central African Republic joined the Coalition to contribute to international efforts to reduce short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPS) and is particularly interested to work on agricultural opening burning, methane and hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) emissions.
