Thank you for making 2018 a success!

We end the year by celebrating our successes and the participation of our partners and stakeholders

Dear friends and colleagues,

From everyone at the Climate & Clean Air Coalition secretariat, we wish you a happy holiday season and thank you for your support in 2018.

It has been an exciting and productive year for the Coalition, and we would like to share with you some of the accomplishments we achieved with your support and participation.

  • We increased our support to country efforts to enhance climate and air quality strategies, contributed to national determined contributions (NDCs) and black carbon inventories, and developed a robust framework for a multiple benefits pathway approach.
  • Efforts by Coalition partners, scientists and experts to build increased capacities, strengthen institutions and raise awareness have started to deliver transformative laws and policies, and climate-friendly innovations in several of our initiatives, such as agriculture, brick manufacturing, cooling and refrigeration, and waste management.
  • The 10th High Level Assembly recognised the importance of integrating climate and air quality actions and passed ‘CCAC Action Programme to Address the 1.5°C Challenge.’

These and many more of our results are reflected in our 2017-2018 Annual Report. Take a look to see what else we have been up to this past year.

There is still a lot more to do, and we are looking forward to your continued collaboration in the new year. Until then, thank you again and enjoy the holiday season.
